Apple Cheesecake Recipe
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese softened
- 1 (16 ounce) carton cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- ½ pound butter melted and cooled
- 2 cups dairy sour cream
- 1 (21 ounce) can apple or raspberry pie filling

Lightly butter a 9 inch springform pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine cheeses and beat until light and fluff. Add sugar and blend well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla and butter and blend until smooth. Blend in sour cream. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 70 minutes or until center is set. Turn oven off. Let cheesecake stand in oven with the door closed for 2 hours. Cool completely. Chill 6 hours. Spoon apple pie filling over the top.
