• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 cup milk
• 1 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
• 4 eggs separated
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 tablespoon butter, softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
