Pecan Fish Sticks Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh or frozen, thawed haddock or cod fillets
  • ½ cup Italian seasoned fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Rinse fish and pat dry. Cut fish crosswise into 1-inch thick slices.  In a shallow bowl combine breadcrumbs and pepper.  Roll fish pieces in melted butter and then in breadcrumb mixture.  Place fish on a lightly greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.  Bake 6 minutes or until lightly browned and fish flakes when tested with a fork.
