Begin by preheating oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place cut ribs meaty side down on the foil-lined pan and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. In sauce pan combine syrup, jelly and soy sauce and dry mustard. Mix well. Cook over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until hot and well blended. Stir occasionally. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Remove ribs from oven. Uncover and drain liquid from ribs, turn ribs meaty side up and brush with the syrup mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Brush with syrup mixture again and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
