Ziti with Tomato Olive and Pesto Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 batch pesto (or one container of your preferred brand)
- 8 oz mixed cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup pitted Kalamata olives
- 1 lb whole-wheat ziti, cooked
Preparation:

- Once the pasta is cooked, if you’ve already made the pesto, you should need no special equipment
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and put them in the serving bowl.
- Add the olives to the serving bowl.
- Add the pesto to the bowl.
- While the pasta is still hot, add it to the serving bowl and mix well. This will help to melt the cheese, making the pesto adhere to more of the salad and tying the dish together nicely.
- Serve when you’re ready, at room temperature or while it’s still warm.
- serves 8
